The model and singer Jyoti Magar has filled a case in press council against some online media for creating fake and disgraceful news about her.Model Jyoti came to the controversy with her salacious dance in a folk song.

In the music video of Prakash katwal and Shreedevi Devkota Jyoti Magar has been featured alongside the two comedy artists Bale and Cockroach of popular TV- program ‘Bhadragol.’The viewers spilled bitter experience about her character in the music video and blamed to have made negative impact in the Nepalis culture. She was dragged into the controversy regarding her character in that ‘Teej’ Special folk song. And she got a remarkable space in the online media getting her videos and news viral.
